Ms. Du at Menghai Pengchen Tea Factory spent some 30 years as the technical director at Menghai Tea Factory, she knew the inside out of a successful Pu-erh tea.
The tea cake was stored in Xishuangbanna since 2012 before we took it to USA in 2017, so it was aged better than most teas stored in Kunming.
This pu-erh cake brews a pretty reddish liquor with mellow taste, very smooth and sweet aftertaste.
