The word “Longjing” directly translates to “Dragonwell” after the city from that first produced this style of tea. There are many grades of Longjing tea, all with the characteristic flat, blade shaped leaves. This affordable, mid-grade tea is nutty, deeply toasty and distinctly smooth and rounded mouthfeel. It reminds us of roasted vegetables: a little sweet, a little savory, a little salty, and so cozy!
