This tea is very very tart, so unless you can drink tart, be prepared to add sugar. I bought this tea to make iced.

Lots of cherry flavor with raspberry, blackberries and hibiscus notes. Iced, the cherry flavor stands out more than the other berryness going on. Both hot and cold, this tea has a tart dryness, despite sweetening. However, I found Pondi Cherry not flat at all!

Do you have anymore of this left to swap out a sample??! I am super interested!

Oolong Owl

Sorry, I finished it the other day. I got the 1oz size, and that was only 3-4 cups worth since its a heavy tea.

I received this from nxtdoor. Thank you so much. I’ve actually drank it a few times, and this never disappoints me. I’ve drank it plain, I’ve added it to a straight black, tonight I’ve added a bit of Chinese green to it. It’s really versatile and can be added to almost anything.
It’s tart, it’s juicy, it’s cherry – what more could you want. I’m sad to see this one leave my cupboard, I would order it again.

I bought a pack of this for fifty cents at a garage sale! The flavor is quite tart and similar to other sour red fruit blends. It’s pleasant iced and better with a shorter steep. Sometimes it’s jello-like. Some steeps are quite nice, and others are super average. It’s a good tea for summer!

Kaylee

That’s a great price!

Ha I bought a bunch of teas from her actually, all sealed and fifty cents! I love a garage sale find, though this is the first time it’s been tea!

ashmanra

Wow! I have found some pretty good teaware at estate sales including a valuable yixing pot for $6, but never good tea! Maybe a box of Lipton bags…

gmathis

What a find!

The dried tea has such a rich cherry scent that I was tempted to just forget the hot water and eat it out of the packet. :D Once brewed there’s a strong cherry/mixed berry flavor, although IMO too much of a tart hibiscus aftertaste. But if you’re okay with that sort of thing then I definitely recommend it.

This was my free monthly sample when I ordered from NMTeaCo online . (I love cherry but don’t like hibiscus-based fruit teas so it could have gone either way.) It’s quite a generous sample, the packet looks like it has at least 4-5 servings.

Nicely tart and refreshing. Good hot but I think better iced on a hot summer’s day.

I meant to try it on its own but I forgot. I made concentrated amounts and added it to 7up. Kind of like a cherry limeade and reminded me how much I once liked cherry 7up that I forgot all about. My son liked it also, why wouldn’t he.
