Black currant is a classic black tea with the taste of rich black currants. Many people have started their tea-drinking journey with blackcurrant tea, and we can understand why. The flavors marry well and it tastes great with both milk and a little honey in it. A breakfast tea of rank!

Berries again, ha ha…
This tastes just like a black currant candy. It’s sweet and syrupy and has that deep cassis flavor to it. Not much else going on, the base is a bit astringent, or maybe it’s the added leaves.
It’s fine, black currant isn’t a favorite flavor for me, and I tend to prefer it mixed with other flavors, as it’s a bit cloying on its own. A little bit of added tartness would go a long way here, I think.

Not so sure about that. Yep, the taste and aroma was somehow familiar, the tartness as well, but if it is blackcurrant?
Maybe as I wasn’t expecting it, I wasn’t sure what was the flavour. Now, smelling used leaves indeed seems to be.
It was quite pleasant, but I would say fruity with tart element. I will repeat myself, I haven’t found out it is currant flavor.
The base tea was fairly strong as well and I have enjoyed it after getting home from the pavements full of glaze ice.

Today it is 57F (14C) and we had a thunderstorm for a good part of the morning. Tomorrow night the low will be 17F (-8C). Having read what you guys are having, I will now stop complaining about what we are having…
