“Day 16 of the Lupicia advent calendar. Just a single sachet, thankfully. I have done it, everyone. I have found Lupicia’s worst tea by a mile (or kilometer, or any other measure of distance). I...” Read full tasting note

“Sipdown! (3 | 219) I thought this had lost all of its added flavors, but looking at my other note, it seems it never had any to begin with, lol! Tastes like a second flush Darjeeling with a bit of...” Read full tasting note
“2021 sipdown no. 57 Another share from Cameron! This one has a Market Spice-like scent, but unfortunately very little is coming through in the flavour. Perhaps a wee bit of clove and orange, but I...” Read full tasting note

Description

An original black tea blend inspired by orange pomanders, ornaments made from oranges studded with cloves, which are popular in Europe as a Christmas tradition for its scent and as decoration. The sweet scent of cloves and oranges enhances the mellow flavor of the tea, which is a blend of second flush Darjeeling. Ginger and cinnamon are added to create a taste that is perfect for winter, a warm flavor for the mind and body.

A longer infusion time is recommended when planning to add milk. Its flavor goes well with simple baked sweets and those made with spices.
