Actually needed this for a morning medicinal — woke up jittery and tense and need something to stanch the flow of adrenaline. This was handy and helped; if nothing else, having a hot cup of anything steamy and smell-goody in my hand helps me relax. I’d give it the flavor equivalent of Celestial Seasonings’ Tension tamer.

Thank you for the likes, even when my product descriptions are tanking. You’re such an affirming bunch … I needed that this morning!

Awww, AmazonV, that’s a lovely way to think of ‘em ’hearts hugs’!!! gmathis – hope your day went better after the tea & steepster (I’m seeing your tea note 10 hours later)!

Hanging out with my fifth graders at church helped … ten-year-olds are very funny, unique, and borderline profound people! I’ve been sneaking in some “Minute to Win It” games … all with a very intentional teaching purpose, of course … but a hoot to watch them attempt!

I love this tea, sometimes I can’t sleep without it. I sweeten it with honey, but even without it it tastes great. It has a light mint taste with a great flowery chamomile flavor. It’s just so soothing and sweet tasting.

This tea has a nice buttery, syrupy quality to it, which gives it the comforting vibe that it purports to have. To me, the mint is fairly subtle—more of a gentle aftertaste—secondary to what I think is the flavor of chamomile. The flavor is definitely not in-your-face (contrast: Celestial Seasonings Tension Tamer—which, by the way, I love!)

Incidentally, I’ve yawned about twelve times while drinking the tea since beginning to write this review, so maybe it really does work…?

Water: 6 ounces filtered boiling
Steep Time: a little over 4 minutes

Dry Leaf Smell: Strong odor, Spearmint, chamomile, hint of Lemon
Steeped Tea Smell: mint
Flavor: mint (Bobbie and MilitiaJim indicate “gum”)

An impulse buy while grocery shopping at Target.

I thought it was fine, if you wanted and expected a mint tea. Apparently this is not what Bobbie or MilitiaJim wanted or like. Oh well, anyone want some?

With the list of the ingredients on the box I thought this blend should taste interesting, but I just tastes like spearmint :/ I didn’t expect it to work, but I did start feeling sleepy :P It’s not awful, but I won’t be buying it again.

I drink this tea before bedtime when I’m wired. It calms me and helps me to sleep. It’s a soft, relaxing blend of Chamomile. The Spearmint is not overpowering like I had worried it might be.

The ingredients listed are Spearmint Leaves, Chamomile Flowers, Peppermint Leaves, Orange Peel, Lemon Grass, Spice, Chicory Root. I would say that along with the Chamomile and Mint flavors, the Chicory Root, stands out a bit, giving the tea a hint of earthiness.

Had some in the late evening while listening to Chopin. A nice relaxing tea, with the chamomile not too overpowering. The mint and citrus complement it nicely.
