52 Tasting Notes
I probably should have actually timed my brewing of this one instead of just dropping the tea infuser in and forgetting about it. The smoky smell is a bit much when I go to drink, but the flavor isn’t overpowering. I’m thinking a cup of this wouldn’t go amiss with a nice savory dinner like cottage pie.
Flavors: Smoke

Another cup from the stash my boss sent me. I don’t normally put milk or sugar in my tea, but I can see where this one might benefit from a splash of milk and a wee bit of sugar. The coconut flavor is stronger than other coconut teas I’ve tried, and there’s a hint of almond and vanilla behind it, with a little bit of spice.
Flavors: Almond, Caramel, Cardamom, Coconut, Cream, Vanilla
Preparation
Finally got into the stash of tea sent to me by the wonderful lady I work for, and this one is definitely a winner. The smell of the dry tea was a little off-putting because it was so strong, but once I brewed a cup, the smell was a little less intense, and the tea is delightfully delicate and has so many interesting flavors. Very tropical – for a few minutes I could pretend I was back on Kauai instead of staring down a lengthy to-do list!
Flavors: Apple, Berries, Dried Fruit, Floral, Hibiscus, Rosehips
Preparation
An excellent cup of tea to enjoy at bedtime. I settled in with a cup while I enjoyed a few episodes of an old-school Sherlock Holmes TV series last night, and found it relaxing – none of the flavors in the tea are very strong, but together they’re quite nice.
Preparation
Got a box of this tea in my stocking at Christmas, and it has served me well. It’s not quite as good as the Twinings English Breakfast I habitually drank for years, but it serves its purpose well, and is a decent cup of tea. I like it for throwing a tea bag or two in my travel mug when I’m taking a cup of tea with me somewhere.

Another find in the stash my sister sent me. Having had a very harrowing day (would not wish on anyone the experience of seeing one of one’s heroes crash their race car in such a serious fashion), and finding myself very cranky and in need of something chocolate this evening, I figured a cup of this tea was in order. It definitely fits the bill – the chocolate flavor is nice, and the mint is a good addition.
