Woot first one to review! I received this tea in my Try Me Sampler and it’s now a sunny day and I feel like having it! The dry smell is very tropical and sunshine-y, with a lot of flower petals around the top of the bag. And the little sample pouch is certainly stuffed full of tea! I like full samples :D I steeped this for 2 minutes with 175 degree water.

The tea is a pale golden yellow color, and man, the petals really expanded and they are full petals! I took out a sunflower petal and showed it to my boyfriend, who though it was pretty weird that I was drinking a tea with THAT in it haha. I will have to steep this in my glass gravity infuser next time to watch it unfurl! The smell is again very tropical, with mango and peach at the forefront.

The taste is pretty darn good! Very light, fresh, and fruity. The main flavor is mango, with some peach in there and something a bit more tropical, I again want to say lychee, but I don’t think it’s that. Anyways, this makes me think of Mexico and hot weather, so it is definitely doing the job! And it is very aptly named!

Overall, this is a delicious green tea! I am very pleased with the fruitiness, and it’s all a very natural fruit flavor to me as well. I am definitely going to put the leaves in the fridge for some cold brewing, and I can see myself ordering more of this for summer, it seems like a perfect iced tea candidate. I like it!

This was surprisingly tasty! Quite fruity and refreshing; couldn’t really taste the green tea, but I’m sure it was lurking in there. The fruitiness was just a touch floral, like mango, and I ended up chilling most of this tea after brewing it, and it was delicious iced, so I suspect I’ll be making up more of this as iced tea.

ETA: Two re-steeps were also pretty tasty. The fruit flavour in here is lovely.

I drank this cold steeped back-to-back with some Midsummer Night’s Dream (also cold steeped) from Georgia Tea Company, and I definitely like that one better. The flavor here is definitely more mango-y, but it also has a floral edge to it, that doesn’t really work here for me. It also strikes me as less natural tasting.

I still rather like this tea, and it’s quite good for what it is but I did lower the score a bit because I didn’t find it nearly as enjoyable as I did last time.

Mmm. The dry leaves smell like real apricot and mango. Brewed, the tea has a light apricot scent. It has an equally light, smooth flavor. It’s very fruity and tart. Tastes like real fruit, not at all syrupy. I’m actually getting the inverse profile of what MissLena12 tasted. To me, the dominant flavor is definitely apricot. The mango comes through only a bit. I can’t taste the green tea base at all, except for a dryness at the end of each sip.

Overall, I quite like this and will happily finish what I have. Next time I might try it iced – I also think this tea would lend itself quite nicely to that.

No. Just. No. I didn’t even drink a whole sip of this one because I actually had to spit it out. So I can’t even go further in description that that. No.

I know other people liked this, so I’m probably going to put this up for swap, but I’d totally be okay with first-come first-served, no swap required.

The name of this one is so apt! Just opening the bag and smelling the sweet aroma of apricot and tropical fruit made me think of holiday sunshine and happier days. I’m going for cheering teas today, since that seems to be what I need. This actually came as a free sample with a Della Terra order I placed a good while ago, so it’s about time it got an airing!

I gave 1 tsp of leaf 2.5 minutes in water cooled to around 175. It smells delightful while brewing — light, fruity notes of apricot, tinged with the deeper pepperiness of mango. The liquor is a golden sunshine yellow! The taste of this one is very similar to the scent. The initial flavours are apricot and peach, and they’re juicy and fruity. The flavour deepens with notes of mango, which adds a layer of stronger flavour and a slight peppery edge. The sip finishes on a tropical note, with, I think, guava. There might be a hint of pineapple, but I won’t swear to that. It could well be wishful thinking! The green base is pretty unobtrusive — it doesn’t stand a chance against the strong fruit flavours! I could actually be fooled into believing I was drinking a glass of fruit juice if I didn’t know better — it’s that fruity and juicy! A wonderful choice for a hot day — it’s certainly put a smile on my face!
