Brewed this up this morning to try and get through as many Della Terra teas as possible quickly! I have… 17, so it will take a while…
Anyways, this one smells delicious! I brewed it up (and it’s been steeping for hours, I used my Timolino infuser basket) and it also tastes delicious! A very good flavoured rooibos. Nothing medicinal, only pure sweetness and creaminess. I will admit that it does not quite taste like eggnog to me :( however, it’s caramelly sweet (akin to DavidsTea’s Creme Caramel rooibos), with some creaminess, and then a hint of spice. It’s really quite delicious. An absolutely perfect caffeine-free dessert tea, even for those who aren’t too keen on rooibos! I’m getting a little worried that by the end of my Della Terra tasting spree, I will want to purchase bags of everything … the only teas I haven’t been super keen on so far are Saveur de Paris (just not unique enough), and Chocolate Almond Coconut, which was ok in flavour but quite weak (and besides, I have some of that one left).
YES: The OCD will be a hard thing to deal with! :P Every tea I log will have to be updated in the database with ingredients etc now!
haha yeah
it’s cuz they KNOW we are THOSE TYPE of ppl! hahah we are all some version of OCD and just nerdy enough and super probably-caffeinated driven to not be able to resist adding ALL the details. and adding all the details of all the details! they slowly stroked their goatees and shifted their eyes saying “they will work for free, they won’t be able to resist! and they will LOVE it bwahaha”
Personally, I’m not into filling out forms, adding little details, etc., & little Terri is more into playing music, coloring pictures, food, & playing in the dirt. Of course we all adore tea, but on the rare day that Ms. Theresa gets ahold of things….well, let’s just say that THAT woman is one OCD, detail driven, perfectionistic, web designing, organizing, form filling out freak. So anything could happen.
