This is my 10,000th tasting note!
I initially had plans to do a specific, significant to me, tea for tasting note 10,000 but it snuck up on my so fast and I just ended up not planning well enough for it to time out that way. I would rather just clear out tasting note back up than let that back up keep building in favor of having the “perfect” tea for this note.
But damn – 10,000 of anything is A LOT!! I guess here’s to another 10,000!?
This was just something I drank on Saturday while working on podcast outlines. It was a nice tea – I just tossed a fill your own sachet in a mug and left it steeping while I worked. It only got better the longer it steeped, progressing from a sharper and more overly apple tinged spice mix to something with a creamy pumpkin component and warming spice notes of cinnamon, cardamom, and nutmeg with a hint of apple.
(This is the old formula, without sprinkles, FYI)
Friendly reminder that I do not numerically rate DAVIDsTEA blends as I’m currently employed there and it would be an obvious conflict of interest. Any blends you see with numerical ratings were rated prior to my employment there. These reviews are a reflection of my personal thoughts and feelings regarding the teas, and not the company’s.
gross
But the big question; does it smell like pickles to you?
Not that a recall tbh but I’ll sniff the rest and see if I get pickle
*Not that I recall
