I like this tea, it has a nice fruity and cranberry taste to it, but it’s a bit light in flavour, and also a little tart. It’s good, but not my favourite tea ever.

This is a very tart-cranberry tasting tea, good for both hot or cold, but I personally prefer iced with a bit of sweetener. I feel like there is stevia in this one, bc it has this strange aftertaste I don’t love. It’s ok. There are better fruit infusions out there.

Iced Tea Sipdown (324)

So this is better when your sick and can’t taste the stevia so much. Though it still wasn’t great given it was on the sweeter side, it kind of tasted like cranberry candies. Yesterday I had it hot and it was more tart which would have been better if it wasn’t also more oily because of the chocolate.

OMG! This tea smells and tastes exactly like nibs. That’s so cool and kind of strange tasting it in liquid form. Not sure if I will buy more but I can see myself finishing this cup.

*Made a tea pop with this one using gingerale. I brewed a concentrate of this tea (2 PS in 1/4 cup boiling water for 5 minutes). Then poured in a tumbler with a few ice cubes in it. Then poured a can of gingerale on top. Best tea pop EVER!

I’m glad that the staff at the store I work at aren’t the only people who think so!

I am glad I am not the only one who thinks so either! I thought it was so strange because I was expecting something completely different. Left the same aftertaste after eating the candy too. It was weird.

I really wish this had more of a white chocolate/vanilla taste to it, but I don’t get anything but the strong cranberry from it. It’s like a tart fruit juice. I’ve had it iced and hot, and it tastes the same. I’ve been pretty disappointed with all of DT’s new holiday teas this year, because none of them were as sweet or unique as I was expecting based on their names.

Tasting review of the new Winter 2017 Collection from DAVIDsTea.

I only got a sample of this with my recent order along with Walnut Orange Scone and Carmel Shortbread (reviews to come).

Tried this hot and it tastes very light. I believe the white chocolate helps eases off any overly strong flavourings because the cranberry is very light.
The hibiscus I can’t really taste, which is a good thing because I really dislike hibiscus.

IMO, this is a nice tea, but I won’t be getting any more.

Adventaggedon Day 4: Tea 6/7

It really was a day of teas I was less than excited for because this probably one of my least favourite reoccuring holiday/winter blends. I like cranberry teas a lot and the cranberry jelly type note of this blend that leans into the sweetness of cranberry (and less the tart) is really pleasant to me but the combination of the cranberry with the verrryyyy cloying and creamy white chocolate has always been less enjoyable to me. However this wasn’t the worst cup of this tea I’ve brewed and I just focused on the cranberry while drinking it which made it a bit better overall…

Friendly reminder that I do not numerically rate DAVIDsTEA blends as I’m currently employed there and it would be an obvious conflict of interest. Any blends you see with numerical ratings were rated prior to my employment there. These reviews are a reflection of my personal thoughts and feelings regarding the teas, and not the company’s.

Cranberry Pear is my favorite cranberry tea. I have about two cups worth left of my 100 grams. Might have tio order more. I saw it is available again.
