White Cranberry Bark

Day 4 of the DavidsTea herbal advent calendar. I wasn’t sure what to expect from this blend. The leaf has sugar crystals and (admittedly very cute) star-shaped sprinkles. So it’s not surprising that the drink itself turns out pretty sweet. It tastes like hot, sugary, vaguely creamy and tart cranberry juice. I get a general impression of white chocolate but there’s something elusive about it too, like I’m not entirely sure whether that’s what I’m tasting or not. Overall, it’s tasty but too sugary for my preferences.

On first sip, this was disappointing. It’s a mild flavor despite my tendency to use a little more tea than recommended. But as I continued drinking, I kept revising my rating upward. It is light but still tart, subtly sweet, and overall makes a nice tea that isn’t overwhelming and complements breakfast well.

Past sipdown – of a 2017 packet of this. I really want to like it but don’t particularly; unfortunate as I have a silly amount of it that I picked up in a lot off facebook a while back.

It is sweet but not too sweet. The white chocolate makes it smooth but the cranberry gives it just the right amount of tartness

Iced – Yes

The overall flavor of White Cranberry Bark is sweet and tart with a hint of creamy white chocolate. In my opinion, the white chocolate flavors are more of a subtle after taste, with the tart cranberry and accompanying fruit, taking center stage. I love drinking this blend warm on a snowy winter afternoon, and have even used it to substitute dessert after lunch! If you enjoy a tangy warm or iced cup, this versatile blend is the one for you

Cranberry flavour mostly. Supposed to have white chocolate but it’s very subtle.

This tea did not taste good, which was unfortunately what I expected. After the first few sips, I ended up waiting for my cupful to cool just enough to chug the rest.

DavidsTea is killing me with their 24 More Sleeps advent calendar!!! This tea is delicious. It tastes like Christmas. It’s sweet but it doesn’t last. Almost like Magic Potion but it lingers a little bit longer. I also think this might be a really delicious iced tea but I am currently having it hot. I really like this tea. 100% would recommend.

Nice mellow, tart cranberry taste with a touch of creaminess from the white chocolate.
