I was hoping this would be similar to August Uncommon’s big easy, which is the perfect pineapple cake tea. Unfortunately, this one isn’t quite there. The main flavor is the green tea, with some very light fruitiness contributing. There’s nothing cakey about it. On my second try, I drank this gradually as it cooled, and I didn’t get pineapple or cake at all, but I did get a lot of marshmallow root, which is a flavor I love. Though the flavor is decent, I can’t say it’s even close to pineapple cake.
