Exclusive Sencha from the organically grown Harumidori cultivar from a young garden in the Kawane area of Shizuoka Prefecture. This is a relatively new cultivar that represents less than 1% of Japanese production. The cultivar Harumidori was created by crossing the cultivars Kanayamidori and Yabukita.
The leaf is dark green, shiny, shaped into nice long needles. Floral notes appear in the scent of the leaves. The steamed leaf has a wonderful aroma of flower honey and caramel. The infusion is clear, light green. The taste is delicious, round and harmonious.
