This is an extremely limited edition blend. We have enough for twenty 2oz. pouches of this blend, then it’s gone. This is a Kukicha green tea blended with lemon myrtle and natural flavors.

This still tastes good to me though, definitely very meringue and dessert like, the lime and lemon flavors just seem to really pop. I put a bit of soymilk in there sometimes to enhance the creamy flavor. It’s also a good iced tea. I hope Frank does another lemon meringue tea someday. :)

Working on getting this one to sipdown level. I think I brewed it a bit strong tonight, but it’s reasonably tasty, all limey and a bit creamy. Probably would be a bit better if I diluted it some, though, because it’s verging on bitter. The flavour profile, now that I think about it, is actually fairly similar to Sun & Cloud Mist, which I definitely prefer – this one just maybe has less base tea, and more lemongrass.
I wanted something citrusy and sweet tonight while watching Wizard of Oz on TV. This fit the bill! I found my sample and brewed it up. This is absolutely delicious! The scent is like lemon pledge mixed with sweet, almost-burnt sugar. The beginning of the sip is a bit tart… more of a lime tartness to it and then it leaves me with an astringency in my mouth. This THEN evolves into the lemon-lime meringue pie! So delicious! The aftertaste is fantastic. The sweetness lingers and this tastes exactly like the pie! The tartness and sweetness mixed with creaminess that the kukicha imparts. This is great! The crust is in there as well, and this is all in the aftertaste as well. As I continue to drink this awesome beverage, I have this continual dessert in my mouth. Great tea! Genius! It doesn’t need any sugar either. Though, I’m rather curious as to what it would taste like with sugar.
Lemon-Lime Meringue Kukicha is a VIT (Very Important Tea) indeed! The aroma is intoxicating and the liquor is tangy, sweet, and creamy all at once. This tea is very refreshing and satisfying with a bit of agave as a dessert tea. Yum!

More and more green teas are growing on me. This one is pretty delicious. A perfect balance of lemon, lime, and meringue.
Another tea from my sampler from iHeartTeas.
The loose tea doesn’t have much of a fragrance other than a gentle citrus breeze. Once brewed this tea is yellow in colour with the same gentle citrus fragrance.
This reminds me very much of warm lime/lemon cordial that I had warm as a child when I was ill. It’s got the zesty and slight waxy citrus blend that is not lip puckeringly sour but for a brief second very close to it. Despite that one second of sourness it’s a mellow blend that’s very easy to drink and enjoy. As for the meringue there might be a slight toasty charm lingering in the depth of the blend.
Overall I like this very much, it’s something that really grows on you as you drink it. It remains consistent throughout the cup in terms of strength and flavour.
Amidst all this talk of lemon teas and lime teas, I tripped over this yesterday. When I discovered yet another tea cache. Shh, it’s old—don’t tell Anne.
Delicious! It has the same bright lemon flavour that DT’s Citron Oolong has, ie. the lemon myrtle, but here there’s a flash of lime and, I suspect, a puff of marshmallow.
Lovely. I like the kukicha base here too. It’s a good match.

Yeah, for some reason, I feel most guilty when I’m drinking Anne’s teas when they’re old, rather than all the other tea shops…
Except the only way that I knew that it was old was by the date I had written on the packet. The flavours were vibrant and the steeps were enjoyable.
Hahaha, just uncovered this in an old tea cache of my own! It has seen better days but still quite drinkable.

Oh wow, this is good! My whole kitchen smelled like lime while it was brewing and the flavor did not disappoint. It has a STRONG lemon-lime flavor with just a touch of marshmallow sweetness. I enjoyed it hot, but I bet it would be amazing iced!

The words “bright” and “dessert” were tossed around a few times when talking about this tea. Plus the flavors are fairly consistent even when disaster strikes and this tea is left to cool right down. So in my books, this tea is a winner.
