This blend is amazingly good! The lemon shines through beautifully, the blueberry & marshmallow notes soften the pucker of the lemon just enough. You taste sweet & tart fruity notes without the sour notes that lemon can often bring to the party. The marshmallow notes comes in with just a touch of fluffiness.
Tea of the Week for June 12, 2023!
My person tells me that I outdid myself with this blend & I must admit that I agree (if I do say so myself!) I love combining berries with citrus, especially lemon. The two fruits come together in a cup of tea so beautifully, so I wanted to make at least one featuring lemon & blueberry this summer! And this is that tea!
This tea really excites the taste buds. It’s smooth & sweet (thanks to the marshmallow) while the blueberry is sweet & pleasant. These two flavors soften the bright lemon notes just enough that you taste the tart of the lemon without the sour bitterness of it. A perfect union of tastes in one cuppa!
This delicious blend is organic, vegan, gluten-free, allergen-friendly & all natural, too!
organic ingredients: black teas (Assam, Yunnan, Ceylon & Vietnamese), blueberries, lemons, marshmallow root & natural flavors
to brew: please give the pouch a gentle shake before you measure the tea to ensure a proper distribution of ingredients. Use 3g of tea to 12oz of nearly boiling water (205°F) steep for 3 minutes before straining & allowing to cool for at least 10 minutes. Enjoy!
serving suggestion: I love this tea both hot or iced, I generally prefer my marshmallow teas served hot, however, with the weather being so hot, I had to try this iced & it’s amazing. So, whether you want something warm & cozy to snuggle up to – or something cold & refreshing to cool you off – this tea can come to your rescue!
I like it without sweetener, but I find that a teensy bit of sugar (less than ½ a teaspoon per serving) will highlight the marshmallow notes just a bit more – bringing them into focus. So if you want more marshmallow, try a little sugar!
