“I get more chocolate here than EG, but it’s still a tasty blend with some sugar and milk. It’s much better cool. The chocolate is so authentic. There’s some element here that’s almost salty in a...” Read full tasting note

Description

I am a boba FANATIC. My favorite location for boba is a fairly new location – at least to my area. My two favorite drinks are their Black Milk Tea (which uses an Earl Grey tea as their black tea base) & their Cocoa Cream Drink (which doesn’t actually have tea in it, but it does have chocolate).

My inspiration for this blend came from those two drinks – I wanted to create a tea that was the best of both drinks – Earl Grey plus chocolate.

I started with a blend of black teas (Assam, Ceylon, Yunnan & Vietnamese) & added cold-pressed oil of bergamot, cacao nibs & shells, plus some vanilla bean for additional creaminess (because when it comes to boba, the creamier, the better, right?)

YUMMY! This blend has that bright, citrus-y tang of bergamot, with a creamy, decadent chocolate note. It isn’t boba but it is a great base to use with some tapioca pearls! It’s also organic, vegan, gluten-free, allergen-free & all natural!
