36 Tasting Notes
Backlog.
This is the first tea I sampled from the Caffeine-Free/Decaf Traveling Tea Box. I figured I’d like it iced better than hot since it’s a fruit tea. It was ok, but it’s not something I’d really go for. I’m just not a big enough mango fan to really like this.
Preparation
Still really liking this one, especially the smell when I open the package! Had a cup this morning and kinda wish I had made 16 oz. instead of 8 oz. because it leaves me wanting more. It’s a nice treat after a string of teas that just weren’t for me.
Flavors: Coconut

My first cup after receiving my order I was a little out of it and ended up seriously overleafing — like double! Managed to get through 1/2 of the crazy strong cup before I realized my error and added some more water.
Next couple times I paid more attention to what I was doing, and I have to say I still really like this tea. It’s great for when my throat feels clogged or I start getting the sniffles.
Preparation
Yay, it’s here! After I used all of my sample from MissB I felt better and forgot to order this. Fast-forward a couple weeks and I’m SICK big time. I’ve been bombarding this stupid cold with everything I can get my hands on, so I was glad to see that this shipped out the morning after I ordered it. Hopefully it will help me kick what’s left of this sickness and prevent any more for the rest of winter!
Preparation
After 7 cups of this, I can say it is definitely not working for me! Yesterday I added honey, and today I did the same plus lemon also… just gross. I’d put up with it if it was helping this cold any, but I don’t notice any improvement before, during, or after this tea :(
Coldcalm is definitely making a difference though. Would like to have my taste buds back soon so I can enjoy some more yummy teas!
Preparation
Well, I should’ve gotten off my butt and ordered more Clari Tea after it saved me from whatever I was coming down with a couple weeks ago… but since I didn’t, I’ve now caught the latest cold/flu thing that’s going around :( I learned my lesson and promptly ordered up some Clari Tea, then dug through Steepster to find something I could get locally that might help kick the crud. Swung by the store last night to grab this tea. It’s ok. I don’t really like the taste, but it’s not nasty… it’s just not as good as Clari Tea. Made 3 cups last night but so far I don’t notice any difference. I forgot to add honey like it suggests, so I’ll try that today.
[1 bag per 8 oz. boiling water for 10-15 minutes]
Preparation
Overleafed a tiny bit hoping to get more of the coconut taste, but I’m actually getting less than before? Can’t smell it as much, either. But I’m having a crash day today (fibro) so I’m just completely blah and it’s probably not the best time to rate teas. This was still good, even if it wasn’t as coconutty as I’d hoped.
Preparation
Another MissB tea sample. This was was definitely as others described, just flavored water. No real taste of anything. Not gross, but not good either. The good news is my tongue didn’t do anything weird like it did with Birthday Cake last night, so it looks like red rooibos is fine for me.
Preparation
I like this. I don’t know how to describe it! It’s different from the others I’ve had, but in a good way. It’s not dessert sweet, but still just very yum. More of a clean taste, I guess? But still some sweetness. It’s a good breakfast companion for my Atkins chocolate chip granola bars.
I forgot to log previous cups, but this morning’s is the end of the 0.5 oz. sample I ordered. If I remember right, I think I got 3 cups out of it (12-16 oz. each).
