Reading reviews, most everyone else seems to get a far bigger chocolate imprint than I do. The cinnamon here makes a larger impression on me than anything else.

Backlogging: It does alright, but I have yet to find a bedtime as perfect as Teaopia’s Sleep Well. Mother’s Little Helper is missing some depth that I’ve gotten used to/need.

When preparing I will try adding a few fennel seeds, but it’s still not perfect.

Tried it with goat’s milk!

Don’t do that.

Nice teatime/lunchtime tea. Very cinnamon-y, which I like.

Not quite brisk/bold enough for wake-up tea, alas.

I’ve figured out that I don’t favour flavoured whites and greens. Having decided that…I actually enjoyed this one. I mostly consider it a white tea with rose petals and bits of apple I try to ignore.

I know the first time I tried it I was underwhelmed, but my latest attempt today, in a bid to clean out my tea collection so I can move on to bigger and better teas, was surprisingly undisappointing.

This tasting note is a disaster. I’ll look back on it and shake my head. The point is, I don’t dread finishing what I’ve got.

I have a lot to learn about tea. So far, I know that I love drinking it. Black tea with milk to wake me up in the morning, endless cups of green tea at Chinese restaurants with friends in the evening, spiced tea with sugar for an indulgence, herbal tea with honey to calm me down…TEA!

likes: vanilla, cinnamon, spices

less-liked: fruity teas, artificial additives (although I might be okay if I don’t know about them? I don’t know yet).

I’d like to blend my own tea someday, with essential oils and good quality plain tea and the like. The idea of my own earl grey or monk’s blend is really enticing.
