New Tasting Notes

Oh yum, yum, yum, yum, yum!!! Delightfully refreshing. I had three cups of this last night.

ALWAYS good. Sweet and tart without being too much of either.

I like this tea so much that I bought a 3oz canister of it from Adagio teas today.

One of my favorite decaf teas, as long as I don’t get distracted and let it steep too long (it seems perfect at two minutes).

This was bought at a Silk Road tea tasting in Marin. At the tasting this tea was great! He demonstrated a very short steep on this one. About 10-15 seconds. Got home, and of course I can’t get it to steep perfect again. I steeped this for about 40 seconds today. It’s a light green tea with smaller leaves so the crumbs sit in my glass, which I like a lot. Not the best green, but it’s pretty good.

Not a bad brew. This has a nice aftertaste too – presumably from the toasted Brown Rice.

A warm, spicy tea that would be great for cold weather. I drank unsweetened and without milk, but imagine this would stand up very well to cream.

Mid afternoon…wanted a little boost but not too much caffeine. This tea is perfect. It is smooth in the mouth with a hint of sweetness…and just enough caffeine to compel me to write this short review:)

Hmm yeah, still unsure. It’s pretty intense. Maybe it’s an acquired taste.

I found it a little tough to judge how much to use, I think I went a little under the correct amount in the end, but still enjoyed it. I steeped for about 2.5 minutes the first time, nearly 4 the second and both were tasty. Light and crisp this is a really mellow every day tea. I could drink this all day long.
