Not much flavour in this tea…at least not like the name claims…there is no “Zing” in this tea…its name sounds so promising, but the tea falls flat.

Once again this is a random tea I bought at the Steeps store in Edmonton and was delighted in my choice. A creamy, toffee tasting black tea that is exactly what it claims to be…I love toffee and this tea tastes like toffee. It is a bit astringent, but still good.

I bought this tea at “Steeps” a cafe that sells loose tea in Edmonton, Alberta at the University of Alberta and I was expecting an average tea, but I was surprised this tea is fabulous. I steeped it four times and each time was as good as the first. It is full of flavour…almonds, coconut and I taste lemon, not very much chocolate, but a mouth full of delight.

I love this tea…it tastes just like a sweet blueberry jam. If you have a sweet tooth then just add a small amount of brown sugar and then you have dessert in a cup…yum!

On giving this tea a second and third try…I have found that it has improved…it is a great black tea to mix with chocolate based black teas…the raspberry and the chocolate go wonderfully together.

Basic chocolate Pu er, nothing special, not especially chocolate tasting, more of a plain Pu er taste.

Not as flavourful as I would like it to be…pretty bland, but if when I added some sweetened almond milk it made a better tea…more creamy and more of a chocolate taste to it, but nothing special…I got it super cheap on sale…would not pay full price for it.

This Rooibos was a pleasant surprise…I generally do not drink Rooibos, but I had a sample, so I brewed it up and it was good. This tea is fruity and flavourful with a great lime taste and ginger. Will I buy it…no…but, I would drink it again if it was offered.

Having a second steep of this tea and is still so yummy. It is so full of pleasant flavour of honey and it is creamy. The second steep is just slightly astringent and just a tad bitter…but still so much better then the first steeps of a lot of other black teas. LOVE IT!

Giving this tea a second and third taste…I found that I really liked it, so I boosted its rating. It has a nice spiciness to it and I can taste the black pepper and it tastes well balanced.
