Nice place to buy loose leaf teas. My experience with staff has been 50/50. Some really seem to know what they’re doing but others can’t answer basic questions about even the more popular teas they carry. I’ve ordered a few cups of tea to sip while browsing spices and picking out teas, but unless I order something completely herbal they always oversteep or burn the tea with steeping temperatures too high (and nobody likes bitter tea.) That being said, they do have great customer service and carry a wide selection of house blended teas that are really quite good if brewed properly. Their spice selection (though not tea related) is excellent and the staff is always willing to go out of their way to make samples. The customer service at this place is really what makes it so pleasant to be there.
