1629 Tasting Notes
I received this from the Traveling Tea Box Pass B that momo wonderfully set up! I finally got to a sample today as I got out of work early today. This smells like a Krackel or Nestle Crunch bar. Yum! I could smell the roasted rice and popcorn as well as the chocolate cacao nibs. So delicious!
I must be out of my mind to be drinking this hot, but I wanted to try it out so badly. I love genmaicha teas, especially the stronger tasting ones. This one has a nice base to it. The dark chocolate runs in and out of the picture and lingers gently. This is a good tea to drink on a cooler day (like autumn, winter, or early spring). This is a delicious blend by 52teas. It goes down smoothly with a bit of astringency at the very end of the cup.
I wonder when I am going to deliver! :) Anxious and excited. I am going to buy some red raspberry leaf tea today.
Preparation
I cold brewed this overnight in the fridge using just one teabag. Today, it was a highlighter yellow color! I felt like I was drinking something radioactive!
It is naturally sweet and I love the floral and peach tones in this tea. It is refreshing. I am thinking that some people may not like this tea cold, but I think it is good! Not one of my favorites because I usually like my cold beverages to be fruity or to taste like plain tea.
This is so delicious! I made a cup of Spicy Chai Latte this morning for breakfast with hot milk. I haven’t been drinking a lot of tea these days. I am 37 weeks and I’m on the last few weeks! I can’t wait for her to come! :) I will probably be getting back to tea drinking afterwards. I love the blend of spices in this tea coupled with the sweetness. I haven’t tried this cold, though I imagine it would taste good!
I love this tea! I was happy to find this at the Mitsuwa near me! The packaging is super cute too.
I love the thin green leaves and the small pink flowers in this pyramidal tea bag. The smell is great! I love peach teas, and this one is a very good blend. I could taste the warmth and creaminess that the vanilla flavors give. The fruity and slightly floral notes play their tune as well. Delicious and refreshing!
So this morning my husband wanted to treat me for brunch. We made our way to pancake house; however, the parking lot and place were PACKED. I remember seeing “The Tea Bar” closeby, so we decided to stop in instead. I was happy!! SO many teas lined the walls and there was an all you can eat brunch as well.
We ordered this tea for brunch, and they served it in the IngenuiTea. If I had to make my guess, all the teas they sold were Adagio Teas. This one tasted like it. They didn’t put that many leaves, so the brew was lighter, which was great for us. My husband was happy because he didn’t feel sick and he loved the taste. I loved it as well. The flavor was light and spicy, and I could drink two small cupfuls of it. :) Delicious and great morning!
