1629 Tasting Notes
Wow what a difference stove-top preparation with milk and a little water does for this tea! The ratio was 1/3 water and 2/3 skim milk. I also added some sugar. After boiling, I let it simmer for a long while til I noticed color change and until the leaves were unfurled.
Yummy! Too bad I don’t have any left.
Preparation
I think the theme for the day is FRESH. This one is so refreshing! I blended this tea (Ginger Lemon Green Tea by Kusmi) with a pinch of Adagio’s Lemon Grass and cold brewed it overnight. So good!
I got my Golden Moon Tea sampler today! I am so excited to try it! I also received my other orders like the Tipu’s Instant Chai as well as several custom blends and mate sampler from Adagio.
Preparation
Bravo! Another good one from Den’s Tea! I opened this small sample today. I love the GREEN smell! I steeped it according to Den’s Tea recommendations. The liquid is a pale yellow color. The scent is mild, very fresh, and vegetal (is that a word?). I have tried old sencha’s from Asian supermarkets. This is FRESH! The taste is delicious. It goes down very smoothly. There is no bitterness to it. It is mildly and naturally sweet and grassy. The taste is Yum! I’m going for my second steep!
