1629 Tasting Notes
My order from Lupicia came in this past weekend and I was so pleased! It was my first tine ordering from them. They included 2 samples! So I decided to use my new Handy Cooler, which is super cute by the way, and cold-brewed Den’s Tea Sakura Sencha. I let it sit in the fridge overnight and took the filter out in the morning! Soo good and refreshing! Some of the slim and tiny leaves and small flowers fell through into the pitcher. The steep was a light green/yellow and was a bit hazy. The taste was delicious. It wasn’t bitter at all. I love the floral and grassy notes in this. Yum!
Preparation
Had this today with green tea! I didn’t realize it was so nice and warm out today and decided to wear long sleeves and boots! ACK! I was walking around today too and my friends and I decided to go to Starbucks. It was nice hanging out with my girl friends since it has been such a long time since I’ve seen them.
This is wonderful and I didn’t have any sugar added. It was sweet enough from the lemonade, which probably has sugar in it. I’m not sure though. I liked the hint of green tea on my palate. Delicious!
Preparation
I haven’t drank this in a long time! I decided to give it a go today since it is autumn and it was the first black tea I picked that wasn’t chai. I bumped up the rating since I really enjoyed this tea. There is a sweet potato aftertaste, which is interesting and nice. I love sweet potatoes. I added sugar and milk to this, so it gave a nice creamy taste to it. Yummy and Good Morning!
Preparation
I’m a fan of Earl Greys. This one was a fairly good one especially for a bagged tea. It was mild and is not as strong (not so much bergamot and citrus flavors), which is good when you want something milder. This was just what I needed this morning. Usually I love the stronger Greys but this one is good. It reminds me of Twining’s Lady Grey but not that much lemon/citrus. Good blend overall. Nice and light.
Preparation
Tried this today. Fruity! The color of the tea was dark purple then turned a deep maroon. It is tart but not overwhelmingly so. Good tea overall but still not a big fruit tea fan. I imagine this would taste good iced as well.
