1629 Tasting Notes
I’ve never tried a rose tea until now. The scent is heady and strong. I am into perfumes as well, so this one struck a soft note for me. It reminds me of when I was younger and I was trying on my mom’s perfume, which was a rose perfume. :) Great tea. There was an initial hint of sugar on my tongue. I had this one plain. No additives needed. The rose scent was strong and nice. It tastes like sweetness and hot water that has been taken from a pool of roses. Not always appetizing but I love this.
After I’m done with all these samples, I know I’ll be making a large Golden Moon Tea purchase!!
Preparation
WOW! WOW!!!!! WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This feels like I’m drinking oolong for the first time! Brewed in my gaiwan and poured into my little tea cup. It was a nice deep yellow color.
Incredibly tasty and delicious. I wanted to chew on the leaves. I am not usually a coconut flavor fan (although I love coconut plain or cooked into foods), so this one was a very nice surprise. Delicious. Nutty and sweet and coconut (not artificial tasting IMO). So good. I HAVE to buy this. I’m on my 3rd steep.
Preparation
Delicious! This order came too late for my best friend’s bridal shower. I decided to keep all of them. I smelled Jasmine immediately. I know I might have a reaction to this so I took an extra allergy med. >_< Yummy and light! The flower is beautiful. I love watching it unfurl.
My mother bought this for me for Christmas! I was so happy! It looks like a small can of paint. The label is super cute and theres a snowflake sticker on the top of the can. I also love the holiday letter that was enclosed. So carefully I opened the tin with the end of a spoon. VOILA! Black slightly curled leaves with small specks of green. Smells slightly smokey and sweet. Love it.
Upon steeping, the liquor was a dark golden brown. It reminds me of Yunnan or a milder Keemun. I wish I knew what was in there. There is no hint of bitterness. Delicious! I drank this plain. There was a hint of nuts, sweetness, cream, and slight smokiness to it. Brings back memories to my first Keemun. Very good tea. :)
