18 Tasting Notes
I tried this tisane after seeing it in all the supermarkets in Paris, and I wanted a change from chamomile. I really love the taste and drink it most winter evenings. I steep it four minutes, but it’s not at all fussy (like real tea). The taste is of tilleul (linden), orangier (orange blossom), and chamomile, but since those first two flavors are foreign to most people, you’ll just have to take my word that it’s mellow and soothing! They make another version with verveine (verbena) that I like even better.
Preparation
As others have noted, this tea is coconutty! I love it with milk and sugar on cold mornings. In fact, I crave it. After the closure of SpecialTeas, I had to find a replacement for my black-with-coconut. I tried Argo and a few others, but nothing compares to this.
Preparation
I don’t have any idea what flavor the elderflower is adding here, but I love the apricot taste! Very light and never bitter. Needs no sweetener. I order 100 bags at a time from the UK. Even with shipping to the US, it’s worth it!
Preparation
I discovered this tea at my local co-op, and got hooked. I drink it every day and enjoy its lightness. The raspberry flavor is noticeable but not artificial tasting. I love the fact that it’s organic, because most days I drink 2-3 cups. it’s no longer available on Amazon (US), so I order it from Clipper in the UK — it’s worth the high shipping!
