This was amazing! Like seriously wonderful!! I brewed some up with just a pinch of sugar when I got home today and truly enjoyed the cup.

I followed my usual steeping plan with cacao teas, ie steep the living daylights out of them (or in this case about 15 – 20 minutes). The resulting tea was sweet and strawberry heavy, but not in a truly berry tart sort of way. Instead, it was a more artificial strawberry, like a creamier candy strawberry. However, based that this is inherently a chocolate tea, the candy version of strawberry actually worked really, really well. I felt like I was drinking strawberry and chocolate ice cream, and I loved the ways the flavours mingled.

I am loving these cacao husks as a replacement for hot chocolate. I do think they need a much longer steep time than any other type of tea, but, brewed long enough they are worth it!
