10 Tasting Notes
I love this one Iced. I steep it in my davids tea steeper (18oz one). 2 1/2 davids perfect teaspoons full and 1 1/2 of raw cane sugar, and I fill it 3/4 of the way with boiling water and steep for 5 min, then drain it over a glass of ice stir it around abit, Today I put some fresh lemons in with the ice as well. Taste delicious.
Flavors: Lemon
Preparation
This is my favourite tea right now. I have it every morning, I must have gone through over 500 g of this already, I normally fill my 100 g tin up and get 100 -150 g extra in a bag to last me till I make another order. I’m currently on my last 50 g so I have to make an order in the next couple of weeks. Normally drink it with a little bit of milk.
Preparation
I was looking forward to trying this tea I just bought 100g of it. Not sure what the problem is but I’m not getting the maple or the sweetness that others have said they taste, either I haven’t made the tea right or I’m still having problems with my steeper (I used it to make teavana’s strawberry lemonade and since then even after several washes all other teas made in it taste off)so I’ll try the tea again tomorrow with one of my paper filters.
I really like this Chai I was very sad to see it wasn’t going to survive the transition from teaopia to teavana. I live in an area where I had easy access to both teaopia and teavana (before it got stores in Canada)and have tried the Black tea Chai from both places an I hated teavana’s Taj masala Chai but loved Teaopia’s Masala Chai. I am currently hoarding what is left of my teaopia chai until I can find something to replace it ( the closest I’ve found is from a little cafe in Windsor, Ontario called Taloola’s).
