12 Tasting Notes
this tea is AMAZING. it is the perfect blend of spices, fruits and flavour. absolutely love it. i find it tastes a bit like lemon meringue pie, not in an overpowering way though. definitely going to buy a tin next time i’m in the store!
Preparation
this is the first tea by David’s that i have to say i really didn’t enjoy. I’m not sure why, but i found it had a weird aftertaste similar to black pepper, which didn’t go well with the other flavours for me. couldn’t even finish my cup :(
Preparation
i thought this combo of flavours was a little odd, but i was pleasantly surprised to find it is SO, SO good. almost makes me feel guilty because i always feel like i’m having desert when i’m drinking this tea. the flavours are quite powerful- very chocolatey and minty with a slight hint of spice from the peppercorns. if you are looking for a nice tea for an after dinner sugar craving, this is a good choice!
Preparation
this tea smells AMAZING. seriously. just the smell alone made me instantly buy a tin! i have to disagree with the other reviewers though and say that i think it tastes great even on it’s own! the taste isn’t quite as strong as the smell, but it’s very similar. to the reviewer that said it was bitter, did you steep in 80-90C water of right off of a boil? you may have burnt it causing it to taste bitter! anyway, definitely worth a try, it’s one of my faves!
Preparation
i love green tea, and i love cherries, so before i even tried this i knew it would become a favourite. and i was right! great tea with just the right amount of cherry for sweetness and rose petals for a hint of flowery taste!
Always iced, always.
