248 Tasting Notes
My roomie won’t let me buy more genmaicha until we finish the two tins of genmai cha that are still in the tea cupboard. Which is fine because genmai cha is one of my faves. (I’m drinking the loose leaves kind from yamamotoyama. I do occasionally get out a yamamotoyama tea bag from time to time if I’m in a hurry.)
I’m actually getting quite fond of masala chai. I made a huge batch and just leave it in the fridge so I can get a quick teacup of it whenever I want.
Haven’t been logging tea because I’ve been having a stressful week with moving back to LA for school, unpacking, doing extra training for my research lab, classes starting up again… BUT I would not have been able to do any of this without my wonderful tea collection. And wuyi ensemble is a wonderful way to wake up.
