I started a Whole30 today (http://mymissingfactor.wordpress.com/2013/06/30/one-is-never-enough/), which means some teas are out. Not this one though! Beautiful mix of real spices in black tea. So good…

looking forward to seeing how you tackle the next 30 days! Hope you kill it! :) sending positive vibes your way!

Aw thanks! Have you done a Whole30?

Sil

i haven’t…the closest i’ve done to anything like that was a crack at phase 1 on the south beach diet. We did it last year because i needed to get a handle on what i was eating – what was nice was learning and actually taking the time to think about what i was putting in to my body. Made me much more aware of what i eat, even if i’m not actually “dieting” or sticking to something like whole30. The way our apartment/life is set up right now isn’t really condusive to being able to have the space/time that these things take to shift habits…so we’re at least trying to think about the things we buy and have in the apartment as a baby step to when we move to a house…

I applaud your efforts :)

good luck! I quit it to go to a sort of lower carb/less insistence on stuff I can’t afford way of eating. It was bringing me down in that sense, and it’s a struggle for me to eat breakfast, and I got sick of it. Still I feel I got the right idea on everything wrong with how I ate and I think in the 11 days I did get through I lost 1 inch from my waist and almost 2 from my hips and yet I am eating until I am so full.

I think anything that makes you more aware of what is healthy for your body and what makes it work best is awesome.

Definitely, the ability to eat so much and rarely break 1400 calories has got to be the most exciting thing. And you feel so good doing it! The amount of dishes you constantly have to do shows this haha.

I remember getting my first cup of tea at about the age of 8. Just a standard run of the mill black, with some sugar and milk to make it palatable to an 8year old. But a love was born and I’ve never looked back!

I’ve always appreciated the quality of loose leaf, and thanks to the discovery of the fanatastic gadgets at DavidsTea while on holiday, the tea obsession has grown! Is it weird to be ordering tea and having it sent half way around the world?

I’d love to do some tea swaps with people to try new teas. I have a bit of a DavidsTea range for any Australians interested in trying some DT goodness minus international postage fees!

Ive just started working at The Art of Tea , a small Tasmanian company. They dont currently ship overseas, but im more than happy to arrange swaps with people. their full product listing can be found here: http://www.artoftea.com.au/. (December 2012).
