One of our favorite teas to drink in the morning. Hill likes to make it strong to get that bittersweet flavor that the Chinese love so much. Puckering and strong on the intake, sweet and chocolate-y on the exhale.

Had this in our 50ml gaiwan this afternoon. Drank through 10 rinses, but the most exquisite was the 3rd, where the notes of butter were the strongest.
Hill snuck in a last minute brew of this before closing up shop. We got it just off the boat 3 days ago, super light and sweet. Mmm..
Our tea of the moment for the last stretch of the day.. great way to relax.
Nice and roasty, that’s how we like it.
No notes yet. Add one?
We drank it in a Kyusu for a few quick rinses.
Steeped for 4 minutes, absolutely delicious
