If anyone orders from YunnanSourcing.com in the US, I would love to tag on to your order some of the Imperial Mojiang Golden Bud Yunnan Black Tea * Spring 2014. It’s the only thing I’d like to buy right now (or can afford), but not pay $8 shipping just for that. Especially if someone else was ordering that, because the more you buy, the bigger the discount. Just an idea!
I think there is a joint YS order coming up soon. I can’t think about it until Monday though, my daughter is in town this weekend.
I definitely want to be in on a YunnanSourcing joint order, even if it is just for 50g or 100g of the Imperial Mojiang Golden Bud Yunnan Black Tea * Spring 2014! Marzipan did an awesome job with the 52Teas mystery bags we split. I might be interested in other teas people want to split, but everything looks good on the site so I don’t even want to look or would even know how to choose. :D I hope they don’t run out of that tea though.
I’ll post something early in the week. I don’t know which of their sites is better to order from so any advice there? I’ll be scarce this weekend.
I’m interested in pretty much any Yunnan so if anyone wants to split I’d be happy to.

I just saw on reddit that there is 15% off everything on yunnansourcing.us with code 15OFF though….
With the .us site it seems like shipping is $7 rather than $8 BUT they don’t have the nice discounts if you order a lot of tea. Like, the only option for amounts is 50grams. So if you add two to the cart for 100 grams you don’t get a $2 discount for ordering 100 grams on the .com site.

Im sorry but I will not participate this time. I’m in Philly on family vacation. Also I would get some purple tea of Dehong but I doubt anyone would share my interest.
This sale is tempting and they improved the CDN shipping from the last time I looked at the site, but there is a lot more choice on the .com site and I really don’t need more tea;). I’ll probably wait until they have a site wide site on the .com site.
Boychik – I wouldn’t mind buying a bit of the Dehong – like 25 grams of it if no one else was interested? I’m not sure how often YS has sales.

Boychik – the non light roast purple gets an 85 rating on Steepster, so I’d rather try the non-light. But I could go for 25 grams of the Feng Qing Ye Sheng Hong Cha Wild Tree Purple Black tea * Spring 2014 if no one else wants to split it with you. If we order the Imperial Mojiang Golden Bud Yunnan Black Tea * Spring 2014 and someone wants 25 grams of 100 grams (so I get 75 grams) I’d be happy with that. It’s a really nice tea. I think whenever Marzipan is ready, we should get a Steepster message going with everyone interested, so the forums don’t get overrun. :D
I have non-light version. It’s waiting for me in Brooklyn unopened, bought it like 3wks ago. So if you split with me Feng Qing Ye Sheng would be great.

Boychik – were you ordering then? The 15% off code expires on Sunday at midnight pacific or a bigger order could be planned out without the coupon when everyone is ready. The shipping is a flat $7 for anything if a bunch of people ordered.
I’m looking at YS’s twitter and it looks like they rarely have sales and it usually isn’t as high as 15% and it rarely is for everything on the site. I’m not sure if boychik was offering to organize this, but if anyone else thinks they can figure out what they want quick, send a message to boychik. I’m probably good with just these:

I think I’ll just wait for Marzipan to be ready. 15% off isn’t much, and the teas are more expensive on the .us site anyway. Shipping costs won’t really be as much of an issue if we’re doing a joint order.
