Steepster Bug Status Thread
Does anyone from Adagio check this thread? I posted an issue here and in the Steepster migration thread about a month ago and my tea kettle issue hasn’t been resolved yet. Is there another way to reach them?
In case any admins see this, email notifications to Gmail addresses are getting marked as spam. I notice from the headers there’s no SPF policy for Steepster. Setting that up would probably help with this issue. Thanks!

I am also having this issue. I (was one of the lucky ones) that always received my e-mail notifications as set up in my profile, and noticed that in the last few weeks, every single e-mail from Steepster immediately goes to spam in my GMail. It doesn’t matter how much I mark it as “Not Spam”, it continues to be put there. Would very much like this fixed.
Now that you mention it, I haven’t gotten any email notifications from Steepster in a long time.
It could just be slow activity in general, but is anybody else’s dashboard stuck?
Mine seems fine. If you ever think it’s stuck, you can compare the latest notes from https://steepster.com/recent to easily tell.
My Dashboard is completely missing this morning.
Same. ‘Dashboard’ or ‘you’ button just leads to a ‘welcome to steepster’ message.
Anyone tried writing a note? Does it still save under your tealog or does the abyss eat it?
I just posted a note – it went to my tealog but dashboard is still blank. hmm
It’s been 24 hours now and still missing dashboard, and I have a sinking feeling Adagio was as quick to forget about this site as the last admins once that initial “turnover” phase was over, and they don’t even bother to check this thread… (I see it’s been three months now and Shae’s issue was never addressed). This might not bode well…
Completely gone here as well. Including the tabs that used to be there for notifications and the like.
Explorer is also completely non functional.
Just in case I have saved my tasting notes through RSS; and I just hope it will be resolved! Maybe contacting Adagio directly, if they check it here, IDK, once in year?
I’m wondering if anyone has sent an e-mail to admin? Since notifications aren’t working…
How does one find the e-mails of the admins? I don’t think they are posted anywhere…
My dashboard is missing as well. I guess I won’t be going back through everyone’s tasting notes…
Also worth noting that I’ve tried to clear the spam off the main page but it doesn’t seem to actually be disappearing :/
By the way, it’s a year (almost exactly) since the transition started (checking Steepster Facebook page). So maybe something big is incoming?
Another weird thing: seeing ‘likes’ to tasting notes on my own tealog page, but then I’m seeing zero ‘likes’ on the recent page to those same tasting notes. hmm
I think that’s normal for the recent tasting notes page, it always seems delayed to me.
