Thanks to TeaEqualsBliss for sending some of this tea my way!
I have never had a jasmine with other flavours – I have to say that I NEED more of this combo in my life! Wow this tea is juicy and floral and calming, the green base is smooth but grassy, the blossoms are gorgeous. I love everything about this tea, thanks again for including this one!
Love jasmine-fruit tea blends. Ovation teas has a few really nice ones, including another jasmine passion fruit, and an jasmine-citrus that is very tasty as well.
I belieeeve David’s has something called Citron Oolong which is really lemony and has jasmine flowers in it. I really enjoy jasmine fruit blends too. :) Also great in white chocolate truffles.
Nice!
I mean … really nice! The apple and cinnamon flavors are very well-pronounced here. Of the rooibos, all I really notice is the nutty flavor of them … not getting much of the woody flavor from them OR that funky sweetness. Just a pleasant nutty flavor.
I like this very much … I think that this may have just become my favorite chamomile blend!
This smells so good at first. It has the warm scent of spice that reminds me that autumn is on its way. (I love autumn!) But it also has a tropical note to it from the coconut. As the tea continues to cool, I notice that the scent changes slightly and becomes slightly more herbaceous. It still smells alright, but, it now smells like chai spices and coconut AND medicine. So, it smells not as good as it did when I first sat down with this cup.
The coconut is the first flavor I noticed and it is the strongest flavor. It gives the cup a sweet, creamy flavor. As far as the spices – this isn’t as spicy as other chai blends I’ve tasted. Perhaps its the coconut that softens the spice flavor, or maybe it’s the presence of other ingredients like the Dandelion root and Milk Thistle that mellows the spices somewhat.
By my recollection (and I’m not saying that my recollection is in any way precise), this is the second tea/tisane that I’ve tried with Neem in it. I wasn’t all that crazy about the first one I tried… and I associated that with the Neem. But I’m enjoying this. Not my favorite tea that I’ve tried from Teamotions, but, it’s not bad either.
Backlog: Finished off the last bit I had of this today. Very nice. Sweet, juicy and refreshing – wonderful iced!
Here is my full-length review: http://sororiteasisters.com/2011/07/14/find-strength-passionfruit-jasmine-green-tea-from-teamotions-2/
This is a very nice blend. The passionfruit flavor is strong and sweet and delicious. The jasmine is there too, but it is subdued by the strength of the passionfruit. The green tea has a grassy taste to it, but I like the way it goes with the other flavors here…
The combination of flavors is really quite superb. I can’t tell you that what I’m tasting is jiaogulan in the finish, but I suspect it is. It has a clean, herbaceous kind of taste that I don’t associate with the other ingredients. I’m just glad it doesn’t taste like ginseng.
Very good.
I needed clarity this morning, so I grabbed this. It also just happens to be the review that published today: http://sororiteasisters.com/2011/04/05/achieve-clarity-vanilla-earl-grey-from-teamotions/
Well, I definitely need to achieve some clarity today, so this seems like the perfect tea. I am enjoying a cup of this with a bit of Chai Tea & Cashew Brittle from Morning Glory http://morninggloryconfections.foodzie.com
The aroma wafting from the teacup is amazing. I love the smell of the citrus, vanilla, black tea and other ingredients (lavender, tulsi, neem) all together in one cup. It’s almost intoxicating.
This is a bold black tea. The vanilla comes through quite aggressively, and sweetens the palate immediately. The bergamot is a very soft flavor with this blend, but it isn’t completely overwhelmed and I like how it sort of peeks through. It’s an interesting change from the typical Earl Grey… or even the typical Earl Grey Creme.
A very nice blend, indeed.
This is FAB!!! It has a lovely orange juice quality to it but it’s more than that! There are berry hints and a slight herb flavor hiding under a gorgeous strawberry flavor. I especially like the citrus and strawberry on top of the white tea…terrific! This is very good hot but excellent iced!
This has the BEST Passionfruit Aroma in a tea I have ever smelled!!!
http://www.herb.com/jgl.html – I found info about Jiaogulan if anyone is interested, too
The jasmine is mellow and I LOVE that about it. The Green Tea and the Passionfruit are the highlights here! YUM! It has a nice surprisingly smooth finish!!!
Very nice!!!
OMG! This smells JUST LIKE Warm Apple Sauce with Cinnamon on top! WOW!!!! LOVE the aroma!!!
The flavors are nice too! I must say this is one tisane I am totally LOVING with chamomile in it! That’s rare for me! This is sweet and apple-E and a tad chamomile but it ‘fits’ and it’s tasty!!!!
Teamotion Teas are some of the best tasting flavored tea that also have healing herbs within the loose leaf mixture that I have tasted in a long time…they are consistently good thus far!
This one smells like a plate of assorted cookies! First I picked up on the coconut so I was thinking coconut cookies or cakey/bakey type which was unexpected because this is a rooibos base and then I could have swore to have smelled pumpkin bread! Whatever the flavor/aroma combo was it was terrific! And Scrumptious!
As for the taste…it’s a wonderfully flavored rooibos…one that is slapped around a bit by the flavors and hide that known rooibos taste a little bit. The coconut is great! The mellow spices for a pale chai likeness are very good, the natural sweetness is marvelous, and the herbs are healing yet not overly flavorful which is fine by me!
I really like this one! I just want to HUG it!
The dry leaf of this tea smells amazing – the strawberry mixed with the citrus smells so delicious! The brewed tea picks up more of the citrus fragrance and there are just hints of berry to it, but it still smells so good.
The flavor is lightly spiced from the ginger, with tart and tangy notes as well as sweet taste from the citrus and berry. The light, crisp flavor of the white tea is not overpowered by these flavors. I like the medley of tastes that this tea offers. It’s so nice!
