it is in fact “lightly sweetened” – just the right amount, in my opinion. The lemon is also just right, and fairly fresh tasting. Not artificial or overpowering.
I would certainly rather drink this than most take-out/restaurant teas (especially here in the south) but don’t see myself buying it often, as it’s not crave-worthy like their peach green.
Preparation
It’s drinkable and that’s about it.
I don’t know what it is with Steaz, but everything they sell is this weird, watery, flavorless impression of tea. Maybe labeling them as “Iced Teaz” is more than cutesy marketing; maybe it’s truth in advertising and they’re selling Iced Tease rather than iced tea.
Attractive color. Vaguely peachy flavor. Only the slightest hint of green tea.
Tasting Notes:
Steeped Tea Smell: lime, pomegranate
Flavor: sweet, lime, vegetal
Body: Light
Aftertaste: pomegranate
Really good iced tea with flavor (as opposed to fruit juice with some tea in it)
I would buy it again!
It is nice to find quality ready to drink teas.
Rating: 3/4 leaves

This used to be great. But six months to a year ago the company changed its formula and now this is undrinkable. It’s all kinds of off. The flavors don’t mesh well together and the aftertaste could not be worse. Doesn’t even taste like the same beverage. Too bad.
I am generally of the opinion that two great tastes can taste great together. I’ve put many individual things I like together, much to my friends’ chagrin, their disapproval apparent in their “Eewwww” response. Most of the time, the result is pretty fantastic. On rare occasions, not so much. Friends, I’m sad to report that the moon was distinctly blue on the evening I tried this beverage.
I love green tea. I love root beer. I love coming back from the supermarket with at least one beverage I’ve never tried before. After weeks of passing this one by, I took a chance and gambled on Steaz green tea root beer. I lost. Made with Ceylon green tea, sparkling filtered water and organic evaporated cane juice, Steaz green tea root beer tastes like both green tea and root beer; if you pause and savour a sip, you can taste each separately. Unfortunately, I did not want to savour a sip. While fizzy and cold go a long way toward making a drink refreshing, good flavour is needed to take it the rest of the way. Sadly, these two great tastes do not taste great together.
Lena wanted me to be her guinea pig and try this tea for her. ;)
It tastes rather weak and watery with a bit of a slightly fake-tasting sweet berry flavour tucked in at the end. It’s not sickly sweet like a lot of iced teas, which is a point in its favour and I can definitely see this as being refreshing on a hot summer day.
Preparation
It’s been a while since I purchased an iced tea or other healthy or semi-healthy yet fun beverage from my local Herb Store. Today I found this and HAD to try it. It’s fun and will surely make you raise and eyebrow or two. WOW! VERY Sweet. Glad I tried it and might treat myself to it again down the road. Not bad on price for something like that either…locally, anyways.
