Thanks so much, NayLynn for this one a while ago! I love pu-erh blends. This one is especially delicious with tons of mint, vanilla and cinnamon. Apparently there should also be cocoa shells, but I don’t taste those at all. The description also mentions cocoa shells but I don’t find those at all… maybe they are hiding within the flavor of the pu-erh itself. But there are multiple Rishi pu-erh and mint blends listed on Steepster so maybe I’m confused as to which is which. There is a ton of mint present but the pu-erh is also very deep and dark with two teaspoons. Mostly mint again with this blend like yesterday (a spicy pu-erh rather than a spicy green) but I love this one! Dark pu-erh but with refreshing mint is a lovely combination.
Steep #1 // 2 teaspoons for a full mug// few minutes after boiling // 3 minute steep
Steep #2 // few minutes after boiling // 4-5 minute steep
A great fall and winter oolong, with smooth and rich with aromas of roasted chestnut and notes of dried apricot and fig!

Just an FYI, tea companies are not allowed to rate their own teas http://steepster.com/discuss/67-discussion-guidelines-please-read-before-participating
Even if you were allowed, it looks quite bad to do so and definitely turns off potential customers.

One of our favorites…
Our Matcha Houju contains a rush of umami flavor backed by a deep sweetness that lingers endlessly on the palate. Its rich, creamy foam creates a smooth, full mouthfeel. A bowl of Matcha Houju bestows tremendous energy that inspires and uplifts the drinker into a meditative state of alertness.
Do not be afraid to use higher water temperatures with this matcha — it can take the heat!
Preparation
Matsu no Midori whisks into a vivid, deep green bowl of matcha with a refreshing palate and uplifting energy. Its subtle aromatic hints of fresh pine accent a pleasant bittersweet note that mellows into a smooth, creamy sweet finish. We love this tea!
Not sure about the pu, but mint, vanilla & cinnamon sound good. :)
