Red Rose

I drink this with supper every night and have been doing so since I was a kid. To me, this is the black tea I go to when I need a pick me up and find that it has a very full flavor considering that it is a bagged tea. When I think orange pekoe, I think of this.

A familar fave, a thermos of this with milk managed to get me through the work day. Reminds me of my Mom and Grandma who always have/had red rose in the tea pot.
Had to add a tasting note as I tasted it throughout my day! I think I will bring another thermos tomorrow along with my regular mug of tea – Its a hard one to mess up which is awesome for rushed mornings.
I would recommend this tea to anyone who does not have definite preferences when it comes to the quality of black tea they drink and anyone who ever enjoyed a tea party at my house growing up cause this is what was served!

Ran out of milk at work so I had to do without my cuppa yesterday. It was awful. Have rectified the situation today.

Today was the PERFECT cup. Crazy! Was late pouring in the water, so it was a bit below boiling, and then I forgot my tea a second time and it oversteeped, but that plus some milk and I got my dream cup.

My tea looked particularly delicious today. Perfect shade of tea.

No breakfast today. But I have tea!

Third cup of tea today! Made the mistake of trying others this morning, and they did not work. Came running back to you, my dear, please forgive me.

I really ought to branch out from this as my morning tea. I just love it so :(

Stuck this plus two bags of rose milk tea in one 12 oz cup today. It looked ridiculous. I regret nothing.

Poured the water in and forgot about it for a good fifteen minutes today. Builder’s brew for me this morning! (Minus the sugar.)

No breakfast today, but at least I have you, beautiful.

Tea isn’t that delicious today. Weird.

Backlogging: Friday I had a moment with my cuppa that was transcendental. Taking a sip and having to sit back and look down at my tea because it was just that good. Red Rose + splash of milk – heaven!
