This was also a very nice tea. I’m not a huge fan of most Celon teas, but I of course had to find that out by trying a whole bunch. ;-) This one is very smooth and easy to drink.

The aroma has a sickeningly sweet, synthetic sort of smell, and the taste follows suit.

If you’ve ever had strawberry/raspberry scented children’s toys, then imagine that smell. Try to picture what it would taste like. Drinking this tea reminded me of those children’s toys, but not in a good way. It wasn’t nostalgic. It was like I was eating toys from my childhood. The raspberry flavoring smells and tastes too artificial.

It is too bitter for my taste, and I don’t leave it steeping more than 1,5-2min because it is very strong. There is a lot of dust in a bag.

This is a very interesting tea. I adore the Australian / New Zealand blends including their cheap tea bag version, however it is difficult to track down in the US. The version sold in the US as Breakfast Tea and not English Breakfast Tea.

Average,mild and refreshing though.

To my surprise it tastes so real, much like blackcurrant juice ,juicy and sweet, with nice fruity aroma, the tea is light itself with a slight bitterness，not bad.

This morning I was in a rush to get my son out the door and to camp, but I really needed one more cup of caffeine. I went digging through my tea bags and came up with this. While the tea was hot it was difficult to taste the almond. However, the base tea was excellent. Very smooth and rich. When the tea had a chance to cool a bit the sweet almond flavor arrived in a big way. It became something close to a dessert tea. The taste reminded me of biscotti or pastry. Delicious!

For such a little tea bag this is a big tea. I’m going to have to hunt down more of this one.

i actually have the bagged tea rather than the loose leaf. it’s quite tasty with a steeping time of six minutes, a cube of sugar & a dollop of milk. nice caramel colour, a rich elegant taste. not overly strong, but not weak either. a kind of middle of the road tea. very calming. it has a royal feel to it.

I don’t think this tea is as wonderful as the above description… it’s just an ordinary chamomile infusion. I will be happy to drink it if it is available in my hotel room (which was where I got this tea bag) but I won’t buy it. It is less flowery than most chamomile tisanes. The only thing great is that there’s no bitter herbal flavour.

Another new tea! Seriously though, I really have to stop buying tea. I’m in job limbo right now and playing Russian roulette with my bank account by buying tea. Grrr… I have no self control.

Anyway, I had never seen this brand before. I bought it after consulting Steepster while in the tea/coffee section of the grocery isle this morning, but really the words “Italian Almond” sealed the deal for me. I pretty much love anything almond-flavored and Italian, well… I’m pretty sure if I hadn’t married my husband, I would have sought out an Italian man.

The first thing I noticed upon opening the foil wrapping of the “20 luxury leaf bags” was the smell – amaretto filled the nose. So far so good! The tea bags bugged me a little. They felt like dryer sheets, which to me belong in the dryer, not my cup. After brewing a bag, it became even more weird. Kind of like a tough cocoon. That part I’m trying to not dwell on…

This is not a complex cup. Someone likened the taste to almond syrup, and I’d agree with that having added sweetener to it before even trying it. The taste is not strong enough for milk on it’s own, but maybe if it were brewed double strength it’d be alright. (I’ll try this sometime.)

So the tea itself is pretty good – not fantastic, but I like it and would probably pick up more, especially at 24¢ a tea bag!

I was given a single tea bag of this, and I’m thinking it must have been old. I couldn’t get any of the wonderful smell talked about by Auggy. And once it was brewed, I couldn’t taste any almonds. It mostly just had a bit of a tea and musty taste. I don’t want to give it a rating. since I feel like I definitely didn’t get to actually experience this tea, but I hope it was because this tea was old and left out, and not because that’s simply how the tea tastes.

I remember, I need more time to get used to this tea’s taste, at first. But now, I like it warm in the cool morning.

With or without honey, it’s great to cheer my morning up!

Having this tea in the morning would lift up my day. But enjoying it after dinner, on a cool evening, would be pleasant too.

Energizing my morning, calming my afternoon and soothing my night.

Golden brown infusion, with smoothly strong taste. I love to have it in the afternoon.
