Now that i’ve got teas galore, i need to get them in to my cupboard…however i really need to focus on work today so that will have to come later. Started my early morning off with this one. Still not a favourite tea, but it works in a pinch if i keep it to cooler temps. Not a rebuy for me since it’s sort of “whatever” but i still enjoy drinking it.
oh hello cupboard…. nice to see you again. Working from home today so going to try and hit some of the teas that i didn’t take with me last week. Not to mention puerh! I’m starting to get that twitchy feeling about getting new teas (flavoured at least) so i don’t suspect i’ll be able to hold out much longer. This one is starting to grow on me i think, though maybe it’s just hw i brewed it today. Just has a much smoother taste to it today.
Another of the keemuns i picked up over black friday. It’s nice to have some chinese teas back in my cupboard after pretty much just having flavoured teas and LB for the longest time haha. I let this one get a little cold before paying attention to it, so i really need to have this again. That being said, it’s a nice cup even cold. Smooth, lighter profile…tasty.
All done! All said and done, this was a decent tea. It’s nothing that i need to have in my cupboard, but it might be nice to revisit from time to time to see how the harvests change the tea. That is to say if i order from capital teas, i wouldn’t mind adding this one to the order in sample size. It’s not as malty or chocolatey as i want it to be but it’s still a solid cup of tea. no regrets here.
can’t get this one to work very well. There’s always a bitter/astringent note to it that it’s my favourite. I think indigobloom is right in that this is more of a travel mug tea. Either that or you need to add milk…which i don’t really do.
