average cup, don’t need more but not sad about having it in my cupboard until i drink it all up

games, games, games…they make me so happy lol. Having one of those days where i am barely doing anything and it’s OK with me…a much needed end to a week of staycation.

i had this one first thing this morning. It wasn’t quite what i expected…i was drinking it at the same time as one of the keemuns i picked out and then we got distracted with life. Not a bad cup but in comparison, the other was better. Will rate and describe better next time i have it haha

Serious business. This tea is serious business.

Both Sil and I adored this tea and immediately ran out and bought some.

And I’d like to add that other tea tasters must have rated it equally highly because it won first place in our recent tea festival. Here are the ratings.

This tea absolutely deserved to win.

Good Lord, this is good: so so good. Smooooooooth, chocolate, sweet potato, no bite—at all.

Another one from my festival tasting packet. By far the winner for me. One that I would want as a staple in my tea cupboard. For all my days.

This was my running out the door and sitting on the streetcar tea of the day.

This accompanied me out the door into the cold and the dark at ridiculous-o’clock to do yoga this morning.

This blend is growing on me. I mean, really. I’ve been seeking it out often in my tea lineup. It travels well in my carry mugs. The flavourings are subtle, so you can ignore them completely and imagine that you are drinking a flavourful straight tea.

This tea bribed me onto the public transit this morning in the dark with all the other sleepy people. A delight of dark chocolate and cherry.

A bit of caramel, a bit of chocolate, a bit of vanilla, and a good dose of cherry. A bit of citrus. A bit astringent.

Next time, I would like to try this steeped with cooler water to see which flavours can be coaxed out.

As it cools, the sour astringent quality tones down and more caramel emerges.
