Typical color and scent for Gunpowder.Nice full. bold taste…then again I think I may have steeped more than I was supposed to

3rd steep – still nice but not as dark. Still good flavor tho!

Excellent on the resteep!

I am just finishing up my tin and oversteeped and used a larger amount. I am going to put it to the Resteep test but for the time being enjoying the cup…dark and bold, very nice!

Getting low on my black teas…ek…this is a nice cup when you are looking for a Black Tea – not a lot of fuss or extras…tastee!

I was steeping this and walked away and steeped WAY TO LONG and thought I wouldn’t be able to bare it…but…it was still GOOD! :)

For some reason this hits the spot this morning! Nice Black Tea. Strong, Bold. NICE.

Very bold, full flavor. Perfect for a Friday Morning!

This has a very earthy scent and black tea scent. After steeping it turns a tad smoky. It does have a rich black tea flavor with a hint of smoke poking thru.

This is heavy tea, that stands well on it’s own. It’s very calming and soothing. Make sure to not add too much leaf though. I made that mistake the frist time I made this tea, and it tasted like burnt popcorn.

Good on the resteep…might even be able to get a 3rd steep out of it

I’m finishing up what I have in my tin. It’s about a serving and a half. Still tastes great but the scent was a little different this time around – almost musty smelling. Will be testing the resteep…stay tuned.

Gearing up for vacation and thought this would be the perfect tea to hold me over until we actually get there! :P

It was such a beautiful weekend and the weather was almost tropical-like – and I live in the snow belt! lol – anyhow…back to the old grind on a Monday and wanted that Tropical Feeling so I started with this tea today…yum…

I think there will be LOTS to say about this one! Before steeping it’s almost like a fruity pina colada smell to it. I’m not really into Pina Colada usually but the first sniff offers a little something extra and makes you wonder what it will taste like! So…I continued on with the steeping process! While Steeping it has more of an earthy aroma kind of like a leafy or sweet grassy scent. Very different. Maybe even a sweet basil smell or something. After steeping it’s a slight tropical beach drink smell…the coloring is a typical white tea color. I wasn’t sure if I would like it much but it’s very different than I thought…I can certainly taste the Pina Colada Flavor/idea going on with this one…but there is a little something that is trying to push thru…a bit fruity but just enough to keep you guessing. Right toward the end you can taste the coconuts and pineapple…maybe more so at first the coconut and towards the end more so the pineapple. I think I like it!

I like this tea but I don’t think it’s what I was craving this morning. Still a good cup tho
