Adagio Teas

Resteeped, 5 minutes. Holds up surprisingly well. Still mango-ey enough to balance the black. A little bitter, but glad to know I can get an extra good cup out of these leaves.

I really enjoy this tea. With its solid mango flavor, it may be the best “fruity” black that I’ve had. Might try a second steep just to see what happens…

Love this one… The sweetness of the mango really takes the edge off the black tea. Do not oversteep, otherwise it gets too bitter. Great mango taste—you can tell it’s mango and not just “some tropical or citrus fruit.”

Awesome tea. I love the aroma from it along with the taste.

I love the caramel undertones in this. They really complement the flavor of the rooibos.

One of my favorite teas around. It’s just perfect for anytime of the day and the flavor is incredible.

I love the complexity of this tea. There’s a wonderful earthy flavor with gorgeous dark chocolate undertones. Mmmm. A hint of milk and sugar and I’m in heaven.

I think it could use a touch more strawberry flavor to it, but it’s just a wonderfully rich tea.

A definite favorite of mine. There’s just something about the way the milk and a little sugar brings out the full flavor of the tea.

I’ve just purchased a couple of Adagio samplers, which is why I have been logging about so many of their teas lately. This is a great drink for a chilly fall morning. The spiced cider flavor is really pronounced but not overwhelming. I enjoyed this with steamed milk and a touch of honey.

I have some of this now and just ordered more, not leaving to chance that I should ever run out. I’m usually unenthusiastic about black teas but Earl Grey is one of my favorite blends of black tea and Adagio seems to have improved on it. Making this one of my all-time favorite teas. It has a dark red-brown liquor with a perfumed aroma and flavor with citrus playing bass.

5 pearls

5-6 balls for two cups of water seems to be the right balance.

Still not strong enough for me. Five pearls for a 14 oz. pot.

Hmm. Not sure about this one. Steeps up pretty dark. Not many of the flavors coming through. I’ll have to try more pearls next time.

First impressions, very good light and surprisingly fresh flavour, with a floral fragrence

I knew there was hazelnut as soon as I opened the tin! I like this combo – I am glad the company accidentally sent me two tins!

This is one of my favorite oolong because of its slight nutty flavor. Unfortunately this will be my last pot for a while since I just finished off the tin.
