I don’t drink as much oolong as I would like, because I feel as if I really ought to savor it. And usually I don’t have a lot of time for savoring. This tea is amazing. It has wonderful tropical & floral notes. I even oversteeped it (ha not unusual) but it is fabulous. A little strong, maybe, but very good. And I love how my teapot looks like a kelp forest when I’m brewing it. From prior experience I will say that steeps 2 and 3 will be the best… assuming I don’t forget about it and leave it for 30 minutes. Ahem.
Preparation
Oh pumpkin spice. Well I will give you this. If you were just called spice tea I wouldn’t have to rate you so poorly. Because lightly spicy you are. But pumpkin? Where is the pumpkin? I’m afraid of steeping it for much longer and making it bitter. There is just the faintest pumpkin note. Enough to let me know what I’m missing.
I will not give up so easily and I’ll experiment with milk and sugar but I’m disappointed for now.
Preparation
Looking for a warming cup to start my day. With milk and sweetner. Good! Not overpowering.
I just received this from Adagio yesterday. Think I’ll keep it around as a staple flavored Black Tea.
Preparation
I enjoyed this tea- it has a solid almond flavor, which is not at all sweet. For those who want a bit of sweetness in a nutty tea, try the chestnut. Here you’ll get a very dry almond flavor, that works at pretty much any time of day.
A real winner, as far as I’m concerned. This tea has a very smooth, nutty flavor that brews up nicely and goes wonderfully with a splash of milk. This is a very drinkable tea, a sort of unusual flavor for a dessert tea, but very yummy.
Preparation
I got very excited about the idea of this tea, but unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. There’s something slightly off about the pumpkin flavor of this tea- possibly the issue is that it tastes more like squash and less like pumpkin pie. The spice notes were very faint. This is not a tea I would repurchase.
