drank Mom's Apple Pie by DAVIDsTEA

My mom never made apple pie (note: I do not resent this. I’m not a domestic person, either), but the smell of this tea still evokes apple pie nostalgia. (But better than the apple pies of my youth, which were mostly the prepackaged ones from McDonald’s.)

My first sip was very bitter and grassy, but once the tea cooled down a little the apple flavor burst forth and it was AWESOME. Absolutely delicious! Not too subtle but not overpowering, either. I steeped the leaves a second time and it still tasted great. I am a big fan of this tea.

(Sample from silentrequiem. Thanks!)

I started drinking loose leaf tea in December 2011. I usually use Teavana’s Perfect TeaMaker at home, and their Remi Mug at work. Some day I would like to have a cast iron set… a red one with dragons!
