When I read the other tasting notes and tried my tea, I was confused. The color described ranged from golden yellow to coral and pink. Mine was a nice light yellow. Some people said hibiscus… no sense of hibiscus for me. ? Maybe I needed to steep longer I noticed a lot of finer bits in the bottom of the sample bag so I have no idea what my next brew will be like.
Nice pear flavor after lightly sweetening it. Thanks Hepatite for the swap! Good afternoon cuppa when I should be cleaning up the kitchen. It’s more fun to take a break.
On to other excitement… I lost 3.8 lbs this week even with no exercise because of my sprained knee. Of course I had gained 3 lbs last week because of the stupid knee. But at least I’m back on track!

I had this one today, also, and was just about to post! I drank mine unsweetened, and I wasn’t picking up any pear. Maybe I need to try this again with a bit of sugar, since I still have a little bit left.
I tried it iced and it was quiet pear-y, but it tasted a bit weak. I’d recommend it iced and overleafed.
The knee is getting better but I still can’t exercise because it isn’t healed. I notice that every time I start to increase my exercise the knee is killing me later. I’m please with the weight loss but I need to work harder on being consistent. Up 3 lbs, down 3 lbs! Not great, but I feel good to do .8 when I can’t get any exercise. :)
I know exactly what you mean about the exercise. I screwed up my wrist bad in the fall (I fell, they thought it was broken, then said it was’t broken, then thought maybe it was broken, did a really expensive test to determine it wasn’t broken, blah blah blah…) and I really struggled with exercising then since a lot of what I do involves me using my wrist and hand. I did some running, but then last winter happened and I refuse to run in that much cold. And then I got really bad bronchitis. I was actually pretty pleased with myself that I only gained about 5 lbs in that whole time, but my clothes just don’t fit the same at all. I’ve lost so much muscle.
Just take it easy with the knee, do what you can but do not hurt yourself worse! I’m glad it’s getting better. Soft tissue damage can take a while to get better.

You did awesome this week, weight wise. How’s the knee doing?
