I put this on my Christmas list because I was looking for a green tea that wasn’t too fruity. I was not sure if I would like this tea so I only asked for 50g. Well my boyfriend decided not to look at the amounts I requested for each tea and bought me 100g of this. When I first opened the bag it smelled very strongly of citrus and bergamot. Initially I wasn’t too attracted to the smell. My first brewed cup I thought this tea was just okay. It reminded me of an earl grey tea, which I am not usually a big fan of. I figured that this was one tea that I wouldn’t be reaching for too often. However, in the last couple of weeks this has been the tea that I’ve been gravitating towards whenever I’m getting ready to make a tea to take to work with me. It’s simple and continues to taste good when it cools. Also, I caught a cold and have been sick for the past 3 days. I’ve been drinking this tea mixed with lemon and honey and it is quite good. So surprisingly this tea is one that has grown on me and now I’m glad that I got 100g of this.

There’s no other way to describe this than YUMMY!! I think this is my favorite tea of the moment. I saw a lot of mixed reviews on this one, but I really do think it tastes like an orange creamsicle or an orange julius. It has a prominent orange flavor and a creaminess that makes it even better. Definitely my go to tea when I want an herbal or anything without caffeine.

YUM! So deliciously creamy. I wasn’t sure what to think about this tea. I am not a huge fan of cantaloupe but I like fruity teas. When I opened the bag this had a strong melon scent and a creamy scent that I just couldn’t place. Upon brewing, the scent was more subtle. I think I may have understeeped this one a bit because the flavors are there but just not as strong as I would like. But that’s my own fault for not really measuring. At first sip you get the cantaloupe flavor and then a creamy note at the end. I sure am enjoying this tea. I’m considering buying more before butiki runs out!

The first time I tried this tea I thought it was a little weak. I definitely tasted the lime but I wasn’t getting the creaminess. I still enjoyed it but I was a little underwhelmed.

Yesterday, however, I used my Timolino for the first time! I didn’t really measure out how much tea I put in the infuser but I decided to make it a little stronger. And then I realized I was running late for work and I left the infuser in while I drove to work. So 20 minutes later I took the infuser out and YUM! This time I definitely got more of a creamy lime taste. It was absolutely delicious. The lime isn’t too overpowering and you get that hint of creaminess at the end. I’ve only had this one hot, but I’m excited to try it iced as well. I think this is one I will be repurchasing so that I can try it iced when the weather gets warmer!

I was disappointed with this tea. It smells absolutely scrumptious when it is brewed but it was too tart for me. The first few sips I could definitely taste the strawberry but after that it just started to taste sour. I will try this with some rock sugar and see if that makes it any better (although I generally do not like to sweeten my teas). I didn’t taste any notes of cream in this tea but I’m still willing to give it another chance.

I’ve been drinking tea since I was young. But I just recently started getting into loose leaf tea. I mostly gravitate towards green and white teas. I haven’t met a green tea I completely dislike yet. I tend to like fruit flavored teas, mostly peach, blueberry, apple, melon, mango, and lime. I have an ever growing tea collection!
