147 Tasting Notes
Hmm….cup of the evening before I switch to herbal…
It’s pretty good. The base is kinda astringent which I think is odd. And the spices are much weaker than I would like for a chai.
It reminds me a lot of the Pumpkin Spice I had from Harney’s a couple nights ago. Except a little more bitter because of the black base. Hubs really likes it… I think it’s ok….still not the perfect Pumpkin Chai….. alas. I will search on.

This is so good… mean the aroma alone… I wanna just keep my nose in the cup all day.
It does remind me of an almond cookie. A pretty good one too (and I have had my fair share of cookies ;) )
It also kinda reminds me of Harney’s White Christmas…except the base transforms it into a different kind of tea. So if your not a fan of white Christmas and were hoping to find a tea that really is more almond…a stronger base…this is it….

So I had my hubs pick out my tea for the evening and he picked this one…hands down he said it smelled awesome.
And it does.
So I brew it up….take a whiff…I don’t really smell banana….hopes dwindling….
But then I take a sip….(In the voice of Donkey Kong) “Ooooooo Banana!!”
Yummy!!!!!
Now I want to run around like a minion yelling “BANANA!”
Off to watch some nerdy television. Hubs and I are catching up on our Merlin…

Doing a little work today…it’s sort of been a strangely calm day at my house today which is rare….and almost never happens..
but it’s a good day to drink a little tea and do a little work

Last time I made this I think I oversteeped it…so I didn’t rate it…and hadn’t had a chance to try it again till today.
It’s really a very nice black tea. Very enjoyable :)
Also EXCELLENT iced :)
