I cut up a watermelon, have a pot of corn on the burner, clothes hanging up outside and flowers on the table. SUMMER IS HERE FRIENDS AND I AM ECSTATIC! :D As my 9 month old happily chomps down on watermelon, the Sikh temple down the street is holding a celebration and tons of women are walking down the street in colourful saris and beautiful jewellery. This is a a beautiful beautiful day and I want to drink beautiful tea.
The dry leaf aroma is quite subtle, mostly jasmine with a hint of green tea. It smells wonderful. The brewed tea scent is very floral: all jasmine and lilac and wonderful. This tea tastes like a bouquet of fresh flowers, not perfume. The taste of green tea is soft and pleasing, not vegetal but the main star is definitely the jasmine. The liquid is soft on the tongue, with a very very VERY slight astringency at the end that adds a wonderful quality to it. Zero bitterness, zero grass. For the first steep I did 2 minutes at 80degrees and the second, 3 minutes at 80 degrees. The first cup was light and the floral notes were much more prominent in the second. Butterfly jasmine why you so expensive though :(
This sounds like an amazing Sunday!
